DFARS Statement (The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Statement)
As a manufacturer of military/aerospace fasteners, VMG has applied the DFARS requirements to our in-house manufacturing processes. DFARS requires that the material used in the manufacturing of such products be melted in the United States or a qualifying country. We provide material certification and the “Country of Origin” with every shipment.

ROHS Statement - July 2006
As a manufacturer of precision hardware including handles, spacers and electronic components, VMG Engineering's products need to be compliant with certain requirement such as the ROHS directive. The following elements are hazardous to human health and need to be eliminated on any product being shipped to Europe. (European Union Directive - 2002/95/EC)

- Hexavalent Chromium
- Polybrominated Biphenyla (PBB)
- Polybrominated Dipheny Lethers (PBDEs)
